Accounting

Do you have all my paperwork for funding? Chances are, if you have called Sheffield with this question, you were talking to our wonderful Accounting Department! This department consists of three groups. The Documentation Specialists are in charge of receiving all dealer paperwork and electronically distributing it to the correct customer file. This group is also responsible for contacting our dealers when parts of a customer’s loan package are missing. The paperwork is then passed on to Verification, the second major group in the Accounting Department. This group is in charge of verifying all information in the loan package including customer and dealer information. Finally, verification submits your paperwork for prompt payment!

Last but not least our third group, the Accounting Clerks, are responsible for setting up your dealership with direct deposit, downloading you onto our Sheffield dealer suite, and maintaining correct contact information for your dealership. Overall, the Accounting Department strives to expedite the payment process to our dealers in an efficient and friendly manner, so call us with your questions!

Loan Processing

Our Loan Processors evaluate retail finance applications from outdoor power, recreational and trailer dealers nationwide. We evaluate the credit application, make credit decisions and inform the dealer of our decision all within 15 minutes. We then generate and fax the loan documents and assist dealers with questions and problems regarding applications, procedures, promotions, incentives and all other general information. Most questions regarding the customer's loan status can be answered by any of our experienced Loan Processors.

Customer Service

Our customer service department assists customers with all aspects of their loan with Sheffield Financial including but not limited to, assisting customers with various requests regarding their loan, updating addresses and placing coupon book reorders upon request. Accounts Receivable also provides assistance with customer service responsibilities in addition to processing all incoming payments and billing. You will always speak to a representative when you call our office; however, if you call after our regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Eastern) you are allowed to leave a voice mail request. Please feel free to leave a detailed message and a representative will contact you within 24 business hours of your telephone call.

Inside Sales

We take care of our dealers and solicit new dealers to do business with us.  We make sure they have program updates & process instructions. We are at their beckon call for problems, concerns, questions, supplies and the like.  Our role is to take care of all of their needs above and beyond the regular processing of a loan application.  We provide point of sales materials and keep them informed of anything new. We show appreciation for the business they send us and make sure they know how important they are to us. We provide Personal Service…It’s that Simple.
